i've been so preoccupied with watching re-runs of TV show and catching glimpses from the past that i became so behind with the latest news. like the deaths of Brad Renfro (the boy from the movie, The Client) and Heath Ledger. is there a curse in Hollywood right now? who will be next? okay. i don't wish for anyone to be dead. i guess i was just a bit shocked with what i found out.

back to my life.

one of my students, John, will go back to Korea in a few hours. yesterday was his last day in school. i will surely miss him and his family as well. his older sister, Sarah, became my student last summer and his older brother, Joseph, was one of my tutees last December. i really enjoyed teaching them. i will also not forget the fun that we had when we played Monkey Anabelle, Shake Shake Shampoo, and Hangman. haha. i taught them how to play those and they enjoyed them very much.

well, this is just another phase in my life where i have to say goodbye to some people who have served their purpose in being part of my life (not that Brad and Heath played important roles in my life. they just entertained me). so like what i always say to myself, life goes on after saying goodbye.

what's up with the color pink? well, here are some Apple products in the shade of pink.

Pink iPod Nano

the 3rd gen of the ipod nano family has a new color. though i don't have plans of buying this because my ipod is still alive and very reliable. besides, if i have this, the color would be covered anyway because of the silicon case or whatever kind of case i will use. yeah right. let's see if i can resist pink.

Pink iPhone

though there's no assurance that Apple would release this (coz it may just be a gimmick of some people), a pink iPhone looks really cute. and if Apple would release this in the Philippines, i would definitely buy one. because this is the product i wouldn't be able to resist.

do you remember Larke, Troy, Bianca, and the rest of the gang from this cartoon? i used to watch this show back when i was still in first grade. it was one of my favorite TV show that time. i stumbled upon some episodes of this show in YouTube last weekend and i had a blast watching them. then the other day, i saw a re-run of this show in KidsCo. wow! seems like i'm going to be a couch potato for the next few months coz i'm also watching re-runs of Roswell and Buffy the Vampire Slayer on AXN Beyond. hopefully, i would still be able to finish my paper and report in my class. haha.

Amazing Race 12 Winners

TK and Rachel won the Amazing Race 12! there was one leg where every thing went wrong for them but they still made it. there was another one where they were the last team to arrive but luckily for them, it was a non-elimination leg. so they had to work so hard (they had an additional task - Speed Bump) in order to catch up with the other teams. they still made it and was the second team to arrive just in time for the last leg of the race. they were able to catch up with Ron and Christina (the leading team) during the Final Road Block. then they won. good for them. :)

American Idol 7

The seventh season of American Idol has officially started. It's still audition time, my favorite part of the show. Of course, lots of people auditioned again with the hopes of becoming the next idol. And some people auditioned just to be famous even for just a minute. They didn't care if they looked stupid or Simon called them horrible as long as they were able to show the world who they are. I somehow admire these people for their courage. But yes, I find them horrible as well.
